Fire eles - Searing Heat vs Fire STorm - Guild Wars Forums

Need help all you nukers out there.

I can't decide what spell does the most damage - Fire Storm or Searing Heat. Fire Storm is 10 seconds vs 5 seconds for Searing HEat - BUT for 3 seconds after the foes are on fire.

ANy opinions?

Searing heat - alot of the time people arent smart enough to move out of the way before the 5 seconds are up but normaly get the hint before the 10 seconds are up.

im assuming u would be using this for PvE. If you can. take both. As searing heat is much much much more energy expensive and exahstion. and firestorm is cheap and affective. when they are set of fire it drains their health nicely. On lvl 24 ppl you can see their health drop dramaticly. Friestorm has a bigger area of affect. I have both on my skill bar. Fire storm for me is just like to keep the dmg comming. Searing heat is used for when they need to die. in a speedy manner. and i only use it if its groups of 3 or more. no reason to wate it on 1 or 2 ppl

assuming you meant pvp, firestorm is a complete waste

meteor shower is also very effective in PvE. It takes quite a bit of energy, but the ability to knock down a whole group of dangerous enemeis is nice.
